This is our first trip to the Lauritzen Gardens this year. Since we visit often, I only took photos of a few of my favorite spots. I'll leave thumbnails for the closeups, click to see the larger photo. The Azaleas were in bloom, as well as the peonies.
High-end gardening If I ruled the world, everybody's yard would have to look like that. Edit to add this: My wife says I take gardening (and life) to seriously. Sure, I have my fun and silly moments, but she just doesn't understand. She has never seen Huntington in San Marino, or anything like the garden above. This IS serious stuff. And when I do see pictures like this, it reminds me I'm not crazy. Unless gardeners are crazy.
Lauritzen Gardens are beautiful and I could, quite happily, spend the day there taking notes of all the plants I'd love in my own garden.
