Hi guys, just wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions on a lawnmower i could buy. Looking to spend about £50 (will be going to B&Q with 20% discount). It is for use on a new lawn, needs to have a varying cutting height and the ground is not perfectly level. What the difference between roller mowers and the rest? Thanks in advance for any help
Any help would be great guys and girls. I'm off to get the mower etc at 10:30am on wednesday the 31st (later today). Hover mowers? Any suggestions?
Hi Murray, I don't know what will be on offer for £50 plus a 20% discount but my guess is that your choice will be limited. You may find a manual push mower for that price and as you have a smallish lawn this may be ok. But of course petrol or electric mowers will be easier to use. I myself would choose a petrol rotary mower. It will do it all. Hope you find something for your budget
My garden is up and down and i had to get rid of my electric one as it just couldnt cope, it had a roller, but because the ground was uneven, it just didnt roll.I now have a petrol mower, they are not cheap, around £149.99 but i couldnt be without mine. Some are self propelled to ease the pushing as they can be heavy. For £50.00, i wouldnt say you will have much choice, although B and Q do have their own range. If it is a big garden, make sure you get one for a large garden, or it will burn out. Good luck, B and Q have some fabulous offers on at the mo, let us know how you get on. Catkins
I bought a push mower here for $80/US but the shipping for you would be outrageous! Sorry I can't be of more help.
Sorry,I have a Troy Built tractor mower and a Murray push mower .But the little tractor would be to big.The little push Murray was $79.99 2 or 3 years ago at WalMarts. It would work.
