I noticed my crepe myrtles espeically one that is struggling has lots of leaf drop and the leaf color is spotty reddish to brown and yellow. I would rather treat with out using chemicals. I have never had this happen before, I don't want my other trees or roses to end up with this problem. Anyone have advice, I'd sure appreciate the help?
Don't know if it is the same problem I have had, my crepe myrtles haven't been affected but half of my front garden area was hit by leaf spot or some similar problem this year. I have sprayed the entire garden with NEEM oil spray and it seems to have either stopped or at least greatly slowed down the progress. Take a leaf to a local nursery, not one of the big box stores and see if they can ID it for you to be sure. But spraying with NEEM oil certainly won't hurt anything until you find our for sure what it is.
Thanks Toni, I do have time tomorrow to get over to my favorite nursery in Frisco, not sure why I didn't think of doing that, I'm in North TX too.
