This morning I put the mulching plug on my mower and mulched the leave in the yard. Between the walnuts, huge acorns and hickory nuts, it sounded like I was mulching ball bearings! My squirrels are getting lazy. They wait for me to hit them with the mower and remove the hulls for them. But the yard does look a lot nicer now. Hopefully the landscape co. is going to start on the new retaining wall next week.

LOL - I can just imagine your squirrels lying around . . . saying, "It's about time that old codger mulched the lawn . . . we almost had to wait!!!" :D

I think I would have liked being a squirrel up your way. I really like walnuts!

One walnut spun around and hit the mulch plug so hard, it knocked the plug out. Had to shut down the mower and tractor to put it back in!
