I was working in a garden today ( for a customer ) The next door neighbour always comes out for a chat , we both trained in the National Botanic Gardens and usually exchange info , what we're growing etc over the garden wall .
She has a pond at the end of the garden and a Heron had landed , so she was taking pictures of it for ten minutes , ever so excited , Half an hour later she called me in to see the pond . It was empty of all water . the Heron had dug 5 large holes through the pond liner . Another first , I thought I'd seen everything !!!!!!! 8) Bugs

Oh heck I hope the pond didn't have fish in it!!!! I've never heard of a heron puncturing liner before. Best keep an eye out here for our local one and see him off if he comes into the garden. Is your neighbour going to re-line the pond and start again?

That's terrible Bugs. It's made even worse by the fact that she had been admiring it beforehand as well. What a betrayal :x
