My seed order from Trade Winds (thank you, Bodhi)came yesterday, and I'll be planting Maypop vine (passiflora incarnata), wild senna (cassia) and Texas persimmon today. The seed instructions say, "May take several months to germinate."
These seeds will be planted individual containers instead of the usual 6 or 9 cell containers, kept indoors on a heat pad until I can safely move them to the potting area outside in spring, and watched over like a mama hen!
Several months to germination--I'll learn to be patient because these are wonderful plants that I had to leave behind when we moved, and I've been missing them ever since.
Think I'll start some zinnias so I'll have something popping up fast!
