A few weeks ago you people helped me out with a question about my Rose Of Sharon bushes. I waited for the buds (that did not bloom) to turn brown and then I picked them off the bushes so I could save the seeds for next year. My question now is: should I leave the buds out in my shed or should I bring them in the house for the winter? I'm not sure if they need to go through the freeze cycle or not. Thank you all for all your help.

I think moving your seed heads around aught to be more in search of dry, than fear of cold.

Damp and mouldy seeds will most likely not germinate in the spring.

For me that is often in a paper shopping bag hung someplace near the furnace.
