I got these two plants from a friend. I recently moved and there not doing so well. I really need help identifying them so I can get them back on track. The first plant has a ovate pinnate glaucous (waxy coating) leave, which has recently started to develop white outer rims. The second plant has heart shaped leaves that alternate on a barky stem. Both plants pictures included. Thanks in advance for your help. The first one appears to be Fiddle-leaf Fig Ficus lyrata. The second a varigated rubber tree plant.Variegated Rubber Tree Ficus Elastica.
Yep, Ficus lyrata and Ficus Elastica. They will be very bushy and darker in color when in the right location, they don't appear to be getting enough indirect light.
Thanks-"Leaves are ovate" Thanks for the help in indentify my plants. I really want them to thrive and do well, and will definitely moved and repot them. Thanks again.
