My sunroom just became the seed nursery. Wrapped old shelving with bubble wrap. Two heat mats and 3 grow lights should start a few seeds. Covered table with old shower curtain. Mixed my own seed starter and filled lots of cell packs and other containers. I'm as ready as I can be. I'm feel like a kid in a candy store. (Oh yeah - most everything is recycled.)

Donna, that is no longer a sunroom, it's a "conservatory"! The Victorians were big on having conservatories--a room filled with plants. Looks like yours qualifies!
Do you have problems with air circulation with the shelving wrapped up?

That seeding studio is gorgeous. Man, I wish that I had the room for something like that!

Your green hands must be fairly itching now. :)

I see that you are using your mini-mobile greenhouses. That's how I use my too. And with the light fixture, the plastic cover won't fit.
That's a great idea using bubble wrap. Maybe I need to add something like that to help with my sprouting-rate?
    Here's my area...

    Thanks all.

Jane I have a small fan going behind the shelves and ceiling fan if needed.

Sjoerd, Your right my hands are itching to play in the dirt.

Cheryl, Looks just like mine, aluminum pans and all. The bubble wrap works better then the plastic covers as it holds in more heat. I also use aluminum foil over lights, shiny side facing lights, on cloudy days. I'm keeping the room at 60* and the seedling houses at 75*-80* With no troubles at all so far. Running small fan for circulation.
Words of warning Cheryl, put a couple of tarp straps across shelves to keep posts from coming apart. I learned the hard way. Mine fell down plants and all.

Hi sewNsow, Right now I have peppers, tomatoes and black beans growing. I planted peppers Jan. 1 and will be transplanting soon. Tomatoes are just popping up.
