A co-worker just moved into her new home a couple of weeks ago. She was complaining about all the stuff the previous owners left behind. The word "rocks" caught my attention... because I was contemplating on stopping and buying some that very day to put around a few shrubs.
I went by there today after work and here's what I got.

There is probably 6 times as much still left! She said she was going to use some around her house, and what was left I could have.
I offered to pay. But she refused. She'll be getting a gift certificate to take her family out to eat at their favorite pizza place as soon as payday rolls around!

Great pickin there Cheryl!! Nice load of rocks.
I am lucky to have a job where I can pick up leftover rock, flagstone, etc. when I need some.

No rocks. Bummer :-( You're lucky someone has too many rocks. The rocks will look great in your garden. Have you ever thought about hypertufa?

Ach now I'm really, really green with envy Cheryl!! I've been hunting around for some big rocks as we're re-doing our waterfall but, so far, to no avail. That does it I'm simply going to have to move and live near you. :D

Nice rocks, and you'll use them to advantage! We of course will want to see "after" pictures.

Eileen...you're welcome to move here... just keep in mind the heat and mosquitos. Don't say I didn't warn you! :-D

Jane... I quickly just placed them around plants that needed protection from the water hose being drug around the yard.
I do have a feeling though that they will end up being used around the fountain/bird bath once it gets set up.
There was one particular one that I set aside... it would look pretty neat with water flowing over it.

My husband knows I love rocks....the bigger the better....I wish they weren't so heavy so I could have more of the huge ones...

    Lucky you !
