Very nice! I could see them being used as planters too. Bet the birds like your idea better. :-D

When I read your header, I thought you were placing bird baths in light shade! I like this interpretation better--lovely bird baths. Lucky birds!

Looks like fine dining for your birds now, the birds will enjoy them. Wonder if the Starlings would still fight over the seeds if they ate from a feeder so pretty....yep, they probably would.

I have thought of making one of the hanging baths but you have seen photos of the hail we sometimes have  I'll just stick with the heavy metal ones.

Very pretty, but won't the hail do them in ? Or do you take them down in T storms ?

Ah. This part of the country can easily get hail. I had a plastic birdbath for a number of years, then the other year the bath part took a direct hit from one or more large hailstones. It was only an $8 plastic birdbath, but I miss it anyway. I did find a small enamelware lid which I rigged to the pedastal and so far it is fine.

I remember, my folks lived in SC for awhile, and they had a hail storm, and Daddy's car got all dinged up from it.

The glass birdbath is lovely though. I need to get outdoors and clean my cement birdbath.
