Here is one of my Lilac bushes. It is just loaded with flowers this year. It has been attracting lots of Hummingbirds. I had to cut some blooms off because the branches were so heavy they were hanging down!

Oh WOW Netty your lilac is beautiful. My dwarf pink one is flowering profusely at the moment but neither of my two purples have many flowers this year. My white one has no flowers at all. :'( I think the really dry weeks that we had are to blame as they usually bloom really well.

I have 3 large Lilac's. One of them is beside my kitchen window and when I had the window open yesterday the whole main floor smelled like Lilac! Heavenly!

I adore these beauties. Our pitiful lilac blooms long before the hummers arrive.
