    Smashing foto's Karin.
You are much further along than I am over here. I mean I have a couple of things blooming, but not many. It was below freezing last night and we had a little bit of snow.

The only bright point in the day was that the fist episode of Gardeners' World aired on the telly.

Just what we need for an introduction to spring, especially if we still have a foot of snow on the ground.

Beautiful photo's, those spring flowers are like little warming rays of sunshine!
(Those little black veins on the yellow crocus are intriguing, never seen them before) :stew1:

Thank you,I don't know if they serve any purpose or if they are just specific to this particular variety.

K, Those are certainly a welcome sight. were see mud now. no green grass yet. We went to Lexington, Kentucky this past weekend, which is a 5 hours drive from here, and there were itty bitty daffodils blooming along the treeline...they were the only flowers I saw blooming there, though.
