I received some seeds from some stewbies, I tried a few before "winter" started... I got this out of one of the pots but I feel like it might be a weed and not what I planted. Some of the seeds were new plants for me... so I really don't know.... so here's a picture....

Before I read the caption on the photo, I looked at what was in the pot and thought "Hmm, that looks very much like the weeds I pull from my garden every summer." ;)

Don't listen to me though, I have very little gardening experience compared to the very knowledgeable folks here!

I think Netty may be right as it does look a lot like Shasta daisy leaves.

I did plant some of those once but they didn't come up and I tend to recycle dirt so maybe.... the seeds I planted were peony poppy and black eyed susan... going to try again..... I guess if its a weed it has a temporary home... lol

Do you recall having any Solidago seeds? (Also a kind of seed that might plant itself.) That's what I thought when I looked at it.

I think Solidago has smoother edges. If the leaves were more blue I would say that MAYBE they MIGHT be poppy. But I'm sticking with Shasta Daisy...

I'm with Nettie on this one...I can't tell if it the Shasta or not, but I do believe that it is probably a daisy of some sort. The fact that you have had daisies in the past supports her idea, don't you think?

    Good luck with that one.

My vote is daisy, either Shasta or the wild kind.
