This is another plant my mother-in-law could not identify. She got it from a friend years ago and doesn't know the name of it. Can some one help identify it?

It appears to be a Hosta of some sort. Droopy will be able to tell you when she gets back on the forum.

Thanks so much. I love this plant and asked my m-i-l what it was and she had no idea. Thanks again.

So, take pity on someone with very very very slow dial up internet and instead of posting a link, tell me what it is, please.

It's amazing how those leaves resemble Hosta leaves. I thought it was a Hosta too, but the bloom looked too pink. Those Hidden Ginger plants are really pretty.

Those lilies are so lovely and fragile. What a treasure to find. Thanks for the photos.

    I am truly sorry
Palustris, it is Curcuma petiolata, or as Glenda said Hidden Lily Ginger.
