Looking for climbing Asters

    Hello everyone, I am looking for some climbing asters I will pay or try and trade something I will put my trades on here shortly Thank you Margie. :)

    What are climbing asters? I have not seen or heard of them.

    A friend of mine had them years ago they were beautiful, If you look them up they are like a bush

    That's one of those plants that has undergone two name changes over the years and has had three different Genus classifications. Originally it was Aster carolinianus...then it was renamed Symphyotrichum carolinianum and now is generally known as Ampelaster carolinianum.

    Any of these names you do a search for will result in information about the same plant. In the GardenStew data base it is Ampelaster carolinianus which is sorely lacking in information and photos by the way. ;)
