On clearance, at Michaels, more ridiculous whimsy to add to my collection! :stew2:

Nice one Ronni. You'll have to take another photograph once you find somewhere for it to live in your garden.

The only ornament I have is a thirty pound green cement toad.

I love it, love it! What a great find, and on sale, too. Anywhere you put it will be great, but we would appreciate photos :D !

Would of made a good addition to one of my humorous stories that I post her. I was trying to get enough knome images etc. sent in but not many were interested.

Thanks all. I'm pretty tickled with these finds, and will continue to collect because it's so much fun. Marlingardner and eileen, I will most definitely post pictures when I've incorporated these things into my garden. Currently though, my garden is a work-in-progress (translation: a haphazard mess!) so there's no sense in placing them there till I've at least finished planting the foundation plants and established things a little more. Meanwhile the collection resides on my front porch in a pleasant little grouping, and and it gives Lee and me a smile every time we walk past :)

I will however take a picture of a ceramic frog that caught my attention...it's neither goofy nor ridiculous, but I liked it and envisioned a perfect place for it in my garden.....and lo and behold, it actually worked there, nestled in with my rose bush! I'm typically a very visual person, it's hard for me to know how something will work until I actually SEE it. But in this case, I was tickled that what I saw in my mind's eye translated well to real life!

    Yes! Seconding this.

Here...here's that ceramic frog I was talking about. Very un-ridiculous, to be sure, but it appealed to me nonetheless, and I felt very validated that it did, in fact, look good where I'd envisioned it would go, because I'm usually hopeless at that kind of thing.
