Monday is Groundhogs Day. They are predicting anywhere from 3 inches to 10 inches of snow for Sun and Mon. Buckeye Chuck will be lucky to even find daylight, let alone the sun to create a shadow! But that's ok, I am ready for Spring now. Bring it on!!!!!!

Talk about opposite weather. We were just talking about how we've had very little that is like no rain to us. With this very mild winter we are worried about summer water. The early daffodils are up, budded and waiting for the first sunny day.

Port Angles, WA is north on the peninsula. It's a beautiful 2 hour drive north part of it along the Hood Canal with wild rhodedrendrons in the spring. Always lots of bald eagles, great blue herons as you edge around the Olympia Mountains.

Can you tell I throughly enjoy a drive up that way?
