I have the best customers! I had one bring me a big coffee table book about tomatoes and recipes last week and one this week who brought me gift certificates for a tea place in Medina... what great customers. I love them... at least most of them. A few of them try me a bit. but for the most part they are great.

Carolyn, I'm sure your customers go home with warm and happy stories about you! In the past you've mentioned adding a little extra to customer's purchases, giving starter plants to children, and being more than a vendor to many.
It's lovely when what goes around comes around (forms a halo, don't you know!).

It's lovely when people appreciate what you do for them and show it in ways like this.

I bring 'gifts' to my favorite greenhouse sometimes. They give me lots of 'extras' and so I like to give things in return. It's FUN!

Jane, I never expect anything in return so when someone brings something it is such a gift. I just want people to eat well and grow garden things.

Very nice carolyn. You are a special person. I have a few boxes in the attic full of coffee mugs from customers over all the years I was in business. I loose my mugs in the gardens, there are always mugs and wine glasses out there. When they get broken or lost I just go and get another batch from the attic. It brings back great memories when I realize which customer brought me the one I am using that day.

It's nice that there are people out there that still show appreciation to others for good deeds.....
