I got some Loquat plum from a tree of a friends garden. After eating the delecious flesh I kept the lovely looking seeds (they look like beads of chocolate) and soaked them in water for 3 days then put them on a wetted paper tessuie inside a plastic container. After 2 1/2 weeks, the start sprouting. They look cute:

I've never tasted, let alone tried to grow, Loquat plums. Are those the little yellow/orange fruits? I must try some now that you say they taste delicious. We don't find them in our stores here often and I doubt if I could grow them in our climate. I look forward to seeing updates on your sprouted seeds.

They grow like weeds are basicly evergreen and the fruit is delicous the leaves are considered medicinal and make pretty good tea. they sue the seeds in some medicine but we arent sure how.
