How blinking annoying. It is to my old car which we were hoping to sell today. Mark had taken the key off my ring and left it loose, but I still had stuff in the car, so emptied it and put the key down somewhere, but where, oh where! I blame Mark for taking it off the keyring....well, it can't possibly be my fault....can it. :-?

Now that's the kind of thing that would happen here - but in reverse. :p I'd take the key off the ring and Ian would manage to mislay it. I really do hope you can find it EJ and sell the car. Do let us know if you find it and where it was hiding won't you?

You probably put it in a smart place, and will discover where once you've given up on it. Good luck, I hope you'll get to sell the car.

Well, we found the spare and yes, we sold the car - phewie! Of course, now the proper key will show up. It has meant we have cleared out the drawers where things get dumped....the shelf where things get put, and my handbag. :)

I once found the spare key for the patio doors in my daughters rat cage!! The little tyke had pinched it while no-one was looking. It did mean that a whole lot of tidying up was accomplished while we were searching for it which, I suppose, was a good thing.

So glad you found the spare and were able to sell the car. :-D
