Lots of green in the garden,..plants that are just coming into flower plus the herbs and salads.

First is the Purple Fennel,Foeniculum vulgare 'purpureum',..i have at least six,..growing at a very fast rate and will reach up to 5 ft,..smells like Aniseed.

I LOVE THE SKULL!!! I have a cow skull in my garden. It was a cow that was part of the family herd. I think the putting natural things in the garden add alot to the garden.

Beautiful garden. I would love to find a few Verbascium popping up in my garden. My fennel has never gotten that large, it gets too hot before they have a chance...my butterflies would go crazy laying eggs on one that size.

It never dawned on me that due to my green paint spree the heading of my post might suggest another session.

    Toni,
what a shame your climate stunts your Fennel,..its a lovely addition to the garden with its almost like the flower Cosmos foliage.

    -----------------------------------------------------

    Jacquelyn,
you as well with skulls!,..i used to collect skulls,..but my friends thought it was scary,..or i was scary,..various birds and the like,..but you can get carried away.
