I have a lot of pink flowers, even though I'm not a big fan of pink. :D Just look at these:

The Spirea bush was here when we moved in:

Delphiniums. One is blue and white, and the other one's pink:

The peony was a gift from a gardening friend, and the double Martagon lilies are so special I wouldn't be without them:

This mini-Dianthus is from my gardening idol's garden:

This one was supposed to be yellow, I ordered it last year but it didn't bloom then:

At least this grass isn't pink:

The Astilbe crispa blooms are white too:

Crambe cordifolia, it looks a bit like Baby's Breath, but of mammoth proportions, and it's white:

The Corydalis elata, blue as can be and with a heavenly scent too:

The Mertensia, it's popular with the bees:

The Penstemon pinifolius isn't very big or showy, but it's orange:

    That's it for today.

Oh Droopy, you are rotten. The weather here has been so awful these last 36 hours and I haven't been able to get near the garden, and then I see your beautiful flowers. You do have sooooooooo many beeeeeeeeeeeutiful flowers. I think I need to keep a list and start 'acquiring' them for my little garden.

Thank you both. EJ, I know I'm horrible. We've had lovely temps and no rain for more than a week now, and we can't believe our luck. I hope this lasts for a few more days, and we get to see more of our lilies too.

Cor Droopy, we have had rain, rain and yet more rain! Plus some strong gusty winds. Now I know I wanted rain for the allotment as it was so dry, but if this keeps up, it will have washed away!

Yuck! Sounds very soggy around where you are now. I wish you fairer weather, EJ. I know how I felt after five weeks of low temps and rain, but this is coastal Norway after all.

    Your flowers are extraordinary, Droopy.
Some I've never seen in the US. Mertensia, would that be Bluebells? Those lilies are fantastic. You certainly inspire the rest of us!

Oh my favourite has got to be that gorgeous blue Corydalis elata. So many white and blue flowers Droopy that I think you're trying to make me jealous!! ;) Most of my flowers have been flattened by wind and rain so it's a real pleasure to see yours.

Thank goodness that my dial up is co-operating tonight Droopy. I was able to look at every single one of your gorgeous blooms! My favorite would have to be the Corydalis :)

Thank you all for kind words! :D We call the Mertensia oyster plant, a similar one is called Virginia bluebells. Good luck with finding the lilies stratsmom! Sorry about your flattened plants, eileen. I hope they rise and bloom for you.

I like the Corydalis a lot because of the warm vanilla-like fragrance. It's good as a cut flower too, but we rarely cut it. :D
