Lots of Shallots

    Our shallots have been drying in the barn, and now I'm playing with them. Shallots are also known as potato onions, or multiplying onions, and no matter what you call them, they are expensive at the grocery.

    I'll save some to replant, and try to foist the extras off on friends.
    Meanwhile, we are having grilled pork chops with shallots for dinner tonight. Tomorrow's breakfast, sausage and eggs with shallots, and shallots on rye bread for lunch :D !

    Have never grown that variety of shallots. Great job, your's look yummy.

    I just planted regular onions and they are scattered all over the shed with the potatoes ! Might try those next year as a new addition.
