Lovely Lady

    When we first bought our house 11 years ago there was no landscaping whatsoever. I saw this concrete face in a catalog and wanted it but didn't want to spend any more $. My husband surprised me with it. He ordered it and had it sent to the drugstore. We put it on a post and planted some ivy cuttings around it. She's starting to deteriorate some but I never tire of her lovely face.

    Is she sleeping Bethie? It's hards to tell The ivy really adds to it. In fact it looks better now that it has been worn in a bit.

    Bethie, Lovely Lady indeed. And she has certainly aged gracefully.

    I have a bust of a lovely lady in what I hope to make a Moon Garden....someday.
