Low growing leaves with a purplish color, mystery plant

    a friend gave me a bunch of purple cone flowers and with them came these these little lovelies. They have low growing leaves with a purplish color to them, and tall purple stalks about 24" tall with clusters of lavender colored 5 point flowers. I also have 1 of these that has white 5point flowers that are the same plant just a variety of the other plant.
    I have researched this plant for about 3 weeks now and can not find out what they are.

    Please if anyone knows, let me know, thanks for any help.
