This is called a Lucky Bamboo. . Some people don't even need to be given or buy house plants :scheming: . The next door lady is moving and has given me her house plants. This one was left at my door they didn't even bother to tell me.I have my work cut out for me :-? .

Gizmo, that is a Lucky Bamboo. All the rage in the gift shops, etc. It looks like some people just should not ever think of owning plants. Good luck bringing it back.

Thanks Toni for the correct name. I went back and fix it. I must be half asleep to have gotten the name wrong.

Gizmo, with plants having so many common names depending on what part of the country and what country you live in, I wasn't sure you could find any care info under the name lucky palm.

Awww poor bamboo. Imagine letting it get into a state like that!! Now that it's in your care I'm sure it won't be long until it perks up. Do let us know how it gets on won't you?

My sister gave me a lucky bamboo. It died. But it didn't look like that one. It was still green. It just didn't grow. It dried out inside. I think it needed more light. Dooley
