Luscious Lavender Moonflower

    The lavender has no smell, unlike the white Moonflower vine, but is sure is beautiful:

    OMG!....isn't that an absolute work of art, Cajunbelle!
    You have really shown a little gem there.
    I don't know the plant by the name, "Moonflower". Do you happen to know the Latin name for this stunning beauty?

    That is just gorgeous Sharon! I always thought Moonflowers were just white...that sure is a keeper!

    Sorry Sjoerd for not including the Latin name, thanks Toni for the timely answer.

    I also have Ipomoea macrorhiza, which is pink, it is perennial, unlike turbinata and alba. They form a tuber much like the ornamental sweetpotato vine, Ipomoea batatas.

    I think it is a fantastic beauty.I do have the white fragrance ones(from Sharon) and the smell is heavenly.This
    one sure would be pretty intwined with the white.
