Lush light green leaves, TALL blue spire in Autumn

    I planted this just a few days before being put into the hospital for surgery, the tag is nowhere to be found and I certainly don't remember what it is. Surprisingly it survived total neglect and in October I found this bloom on it.

    This photo was taken today, the second photo was taken last fall, that's why the foliage looks different colors.

    Sorry to double post but I found the name of this plant.

    Veronica 'Sunny Border Blue' I remember buying it a Texas native plant nursery on the other side of Dallas. Now to get the plant page in our Database updated.

    What a beautiful shade of blue Toni. I hope it goes on and, in time, produces many more flower spikes for you.

    Love it! I have several different ones in my garden, but not 'Sunny Border Blue'.

    Glad you found the tag. I was going to suggest Blue Spire Salvia.
    It is such a pretty blue. I'm going to try to add more "true" blue to my garden this year. Last year I noticed I had too much purple.... well... maybe not too much, but definitely alot of it than other colors.
