Yes, there you have it : a Doberman with a classy name. Max was a rescued dog of excellent breeding. He was locked up in a garage every day when his ownners went to work. my late wife and I gave Max a new home ( but he hated our garage and would not go near it !!. ) His father and grandfather were champion dogs. Once walking him in town a woman stopped me and said " Your Doberman is Maximillian Othello isn't he ? ). I said yes and it turned out she was a judge at Crufts and new Max's forebears. He mated with a pub landlords bitch and they had thirteen pups. One was a chocolate colour which the land lord kept for himself the rest went to pub landlords all over the UK. He was the daftest and softest dog you could ever meet and we loved him. Oh yes, he loved the girls and ladies too ( human ones !! ).
you said was,, so i am assuming he is not with you anymore ? i am guessing spoiled rotten as all mine are !
What a beautiful dog! Our pets are a joy when they are with us, and then leave us with so many happy memories. Max was a lucky puppy, and you and your wife were lucky to get him.
Yes, long time ago mart and his photographs are all over the place he was that great. Pets keep us sane in these awful times and we should be grateful for them then and now. Though I have to say Squeak my moggie ( is a outdoor cat and only comes for dinners ) can be a real pain at times with his ways. He is the third of his kind ( grandfather and father all alike and outdoor moggies that lived long lives ). Even being an outdoor cat he is my cat and a loved one too.
