This is a side view of the bed I put in out front of moms house last year. In the front left corner are Oriental Lilies 'Mona Lisa', to the right of those is a Penstemon 'Red Riding Hood', right of those is Peony 'Sarah Bernhardt'. Hidden by Sarah is a Petite Delight Bee Balm, and on the far side is Peony 'Shawnee Chief'. Hidden by Red Riding Hood is a Daylily, 'Mary Reed'. Behind Mona Lisa is Butterfly Bush 'Pink Delight'. On the far side of the pic is Phlox 'Flame Crimson(?)'. Right of that is Sedum 'Autumn Joy' and next to that is Rudbeckia 'Autumn Colors'.

This is not "my" lily, I took this pic at work today. My lilies havent bloomed yet, but I wanted you guys to see what they look like :)

My Hibiscus has made an appearance! I had read that it takes awhile to show up, but I was still worried it hadnt survived. Now I just need to keep it protected from the lawn mower :) (I did put up white wire fencing around it...)

In the front are Pansies that I planted last fall, adn they came back :) Behind them is Salvia 'Caradonna'. You can still see the tulip and daffodil foliage. Right of the Salvia is a Shasta Daisy (not blooming yet), though I cannot remember what variety.

Bought this baby last year as a clearance plant :)

This Snapdragon was planted last summer, and I was surprised to see that it and another one (a dark pink one) made it through the winter :D And I know this is the same plant (not from seed), because I didnt clean up the bed until March, and this guy was still green, so I left it alone.

Sadly, the pink one I had growing next to President didnt survive. They were really pretty together, but I did buy a white Clematis 'Toki' so Ill probably put it with this one.

Im assuming this is a miniature rose, seeing how small the leaves and flowers are. Its pretty, but sadly, neither me nor Jeff (moms bf, whos rose this is) know the name of this cutie.

A Lovely garden Jen. I have had snapdragons survive for three years. How tall does your Clematis climb?

I agree with Calin as to what is my favourite. Your Penstemon is beautiful with its bright red flowers. I also think your Dianthus are really pretty.

Your spring flowers are looking very nice, Bip.
I know that you have to be pretty happy with them, in spite of some losses. Your beds look delightful.

Thanks all :) I cant wait till more flowers bloom to add more pics (actually I think peony Sarah Bernhardt is blooming so Ill have to get pics before shes done).

Jerry, I think the clematis is about 4.5ft tall right now, but thats just an estimate :)

Yesterday at work the vendors were going to toss a whole flatbed cart of Coreopsis, so I asked if I could have some and I got 6 (var. Presto) for $2 each, down from $6 :D

Bip... I don't know if all Coreopsis grow the same or not. But the one's had took over a flower bed! They got to be so big and heavy they were flopping over.
Lots of beautiful flowers... and lots of new sprouts everywhere. I actually pulled out 2 wheelbarrows full of the largests ones and tossed them away. And there's still plenty to grow.
So be a little careful of where you plant them... just in case they are like mine.

Today I went to my "other" garden (Jeffs house) and took pics. Dont mind the weeds, I took care of quite a few after the pics... <.<

Here we have Cabbage 'Bonnie Hybrid' (My lines are crooked... >_<)

I think this is 'Packman' variety. Also from Bonnie plants

I dont really like tomatoes, but my mom does so I planted these heirlooms, 'Homestead'. As you can also see, I planted Marigolds amongst them :)

Heres my 2nd attempt at growing a pumpkin. Last year I planted too late, so the pumpkins didnt grow fast enough for Halloween, then the frost got em :( I hope to have em this year though!

Maybe Ill be able to make mint tea :D

Im going to assume this is a raspberry for now. I didnt plant it, it was already there :)

Speaking of raspberries, my berries I planted last year are doing good, they already have berry buds! Woo!

I didnt used to really be a fan of Impatiens, cause theyre so overused. But this year I thought Id give em a shot, cause I just loved these colors (orange, pink, purple and white)
