I am having my derfibrilator replaced Thurs. morning. I is out patient surgery and I should be home that afternoon if everything goes ok. They are doing it at Ohio State Heart Hospital in Columbus. The battery is almost shot on my old one. It's about an hour's drive down there and since I have to check in by 6 am, we are going down this evening and staying in a motel across from the hospital. They aren't replaceing the wires, so it will be a minor surgey.

I hope everything goes well with the procedure. Maybe they will give you an Energizer bunny battery......they keep going and going and going..... :)

Looking forward to your next post. Good luck Captain.

Take Care Capt. We will be here waiting for you to let us know you are home and doing just fine.

I don't know, if they give you one of the Energizer bunny batteries you gonna have to get one of those drums to lug around everywhere and make all that noise beating on it all the time...that's not going to sit well with the missus. Plus you will have to wear a pink fuzzy suit and that is just not cool. ;)

We'll all be awaiting your return. Tell the doctors you are a VIG (Very Important Gardener) and they'd better take real good care of you.
    Maybe a solar battery?

Capt. praying for a speedy recovery and that all will go very well. Maybe they could put in a supercharged battery. That way one would have a lot more energy and get stuff done quicker. Looking forward to your quick return. :stew1:

Get well soon! Rest at home is the way to go, so much more peaceful than the hospital.
