The sun is setting in the West, back behind the tree line. The large oak trees branches filter out the last of the days heat. A nice cool breeze that sets the tall grass to dancing, brings a scent of natures perfume. Jasmine, honeysuckles, roses and freshly cut grass is best worn by Mother Nature.

The colors she wears are so vivid even in the fadinng light. The rich colors of natures jewels catch the eye ,down to the smallest white flower.

Its quiet out here in the country but its a very loud sound. Cricketts and frogs singing out the old day and praise the approuching night.

I look out over the fields and not another person in sight but its jumping with life out here. Dragonflies and butterflies dance to the same music. Gracefully dancing to natures song, dragonflies chase after one another, a perfect time for courting. Hundreds join in as one to dance in the last rays of the day. Across the fields and back, they move together like a single heartbeat.

Theres a peace out here as spring has turned to summer.

Maybe this summer wont be so bad.

Denee, It is always a pleasure to see someone whose talents lie in more than one area. You should write more and one way to do it is to keep a daily journal. It will keep track of things that are worth writing about. Everyone has things in their life that are worth writing about. Keep up the good work. DR
