Wow Henry that was a really neat video. A few weeks ago in the upper northern part of Wis. a guy was outside with his lab dog. He saw a bear approaching and figured the barking dog would scare the bear away. But it didn't. He went to grab his dog so the bear would not hurt it and tried to go in the house. The bear attacked him about 10ft from the house and was mauling him. His wife heard all the noise and looked out to see the bear on top of her husband back biting him on the head. She grabbed the shot gun and ran outside and hit the bear on the noise. It backed off enough so they could get into the house and then came right up on the porch and was looking in the door at them. They called the sheriff who came over to see the bear still there huffing around. As he stepped out of his car the bear came at him and he shot and killed it. The wife did not know how to use the shot gun or she would have killed the bear. Her hubby said that he was going to teach her how to use it and was glad he was not alone as he probably would have been killed by the bear. The DNR said that it was a juvenile male bear and that his actions where out of character. They did test him for rabies and it came back negative. I guess it was just a bear with a bad attitude.
