Med green leaves, there appear to be tendrils showing up now

    They sort of remind me of cucumbers but I didn't plant any out front and the ones out back never germinated. There are several of these scattered around the front yard so I think the birds probably planted them for me.

    Wow! That's great! Could be pumpkin, squash, cukes....You may have to wait to find out! Same thing happened to me last summer & it turned out to be a pumpkin.

    I had a similar situation and it turned out to be a gourd. The critters love to spread the seeds around.

    Eclecticgarden, that's it!!! I have two gourds hanging out front that a pair of Wrens used as a home this past Spring. Daddy Wren was building the next and must have pulled out some seeds I had not gotten out.

    Now I need to get it moved someplace where it can grow to it's heart content.
