May 24, 2015 001 (2).jpg May 24, 2015 063 (2).jpg The Orioles have been here for a while and I am going through a lot of jelly/jam...I keep my bedroom window curtain open so I can watch them up close. The other day I was cleaning the window inside and I had to freeze with my hand and paper towel up high so I wouldn't scare them away.... I can imagine that looked quite funny Sherry :)

Wonderful shots. Orioles aren't worried about camouflage anyway with their striking contrast, that's for sure.

They are really 'into' the jam aren't they? It's good to know that they have a guaranteed food source when they are raising young. It saves the parents having to make as many trips to feed themselves. Well fed parents, after all, make well fed youngsters.

Thank you Frank, Eileen and Kay....
Eileen...when they are feeding their young (or Nesting) they don't come to the feeders as often because they are feeding them bugs....which is great because we have plenty of bugs around.
