Went to Harbor Freight today. Look what I bought me. The green spikey thing fits on soda bottles for watering. 6 for $2.99. And I just had to have the shovel

Santa is sure good to you!
I have a similar "greenhouse". Hope your's is better made than the one I have. It's okay, just a little flimsy. I was scared to put anything really heavy on it. Mine is being used for seed starting.

    Cheryl.
This is my 3rd one. I drill holes and put small screws in legs so it will not come apart. I also put a few slats under shelves to sturdy them.

What a great looking shovel and I like the spikey things. Now why can't other people buy us Chrissie pressies like those?
My husband says that I can walk past shops selling clothes, shoes, handbags and make-up with even noticing them but my eyes light up if I pass a pile of compost or see a shop selling gardening stuff. You'd think he'd know what to get for me then wouldn't you? Maybe I just haven't trained him right yet.

Eileen, You just described me and most all stewers. I remember one year I wanted a sheet of plywood for Christmas and my hubby said he could not tell people he bought me plywood. So I told him lie to them and tell them you bought me diamonds.

My office does a gift exchange every year. There are two more gardeners among us. I was hoping to draw one of their names because I knew the perfect gift to get them.... either compost or potting soil. :-D

Just look at that! That is quite a haul. Some very useful items indeed. I use those long, pointy things for deep watering of my toms. They work very well. I wish that I had more.
I can't wait to see everything in use when the season begins again.

    Great stuff Donna.

I buy what I want too. It is much easier than wishing for the right stuff for a present. I hate to have someone spend money or give me something I can't or won't use, then it is just clutter, since I feel bad to regift it or send it on to goodwill. I participated in a seed exchange and I just got my seeds the other day and it was like the best packet of surprise I have ever had. Seeds I wanted to try, but didn't want to buy a whole packet. I even already ordered some tomatoes and peppers and to my surprise there were no duplicates.

I wanted a chainsaw for the longest time.I never did get that, but now I have a son who does a lot of the cutting for us and I don't worry so much about it.

Good for you Donna. did you get the plywood, by the way?

Good for you Donna, beefing up those plastic greenhouses so they are sturdier. I think gardeners are the most ingenius peeps.I have to laugh tho.Sometimes my ideas work better in theory than practice.
Love that shovel.Kinda like a larger hand digger with a long handle. Perfect for me sitting on my stool or standing.
I bought a me gift the other day. One of those short coiled hoses for greenhouse.
