I can't send each and every one of you a Christmas card, so instead I'll just post it here. Thank you all for being awesome, and being in my life, and for making it better! I appreciate you all!
<yawn> Morning everyone, and a Merry Christmas to all! I am the official photographer for my daughter's household this morning, so I'm up and waiting for the littles to wake so that I can book downstairs before them and capture their "OMG LOOK WHAT SANTA BROUGHT!!!" expressions as they come down the stairs. My daughter Paige did an absolutely amazing job of shopping for Christmas loot this year. It looks like she spent a small fortune there's such a Santa spread...but except for the new play kitchen (which is from Santa Ronni too) she found the other stuff gently used for less than half price or in most cases, way less even than that! We'll have the kids' Christmas first thing this morning. Around 9.30 Devin and Cameron (two of my adult sons) will come over, I'll have cooked a huge, southern breakfast by then, we'll eat, and then we'll have a second Christmas and gift exchange. After lunch Paige and her husband and the kids will head off to his side of the family for more celebrating and visiting, and I then I'll do what has become a Christmas tradition for me....I'll go to a movie or several. I have a couple friends I'm arguing with over what we're going to see today, the boys may come, and it will be a relaxing afternoon for me. Then on Saturday we have yet another Christmas get-together with my granddaughters (the children of my addict son) and Uncles Dev and Cam will come back over to celebrate that, give gifts etc and that's when we'll have our big Christmas Dinner. The girls will spend the night, I'll take them back Sunday. And that will conclude my weekend of festivities! I wish you all a Merry, Happy, Wonderful Christmas in whatever way you celebrate it. Thank you all so much for being awesome, for being such wonderful gardening mentors, and for being my friend.
I to wish you and yours a very blessed Christmas day spent with family. Ours was very quite as we will not be celebrating with family until the weekend after Christmas. So we stayed in our PJ's, and have been watching Christmas movies all day. My favorite is--It's a Wonderful Life. Because truly it is a wonderful life.
