I was riding through the countryside this afternoon trying to find some good fall color to share. I was disappointed with what I found but will share anyway.

This one really does not show the color of the trees but I did get an interesting effect from the sun shining throught the trees. This was taken in the middle of a road that I couldn't find again if I tried.

Wow I'd love to see this colour in person, just gorgeous. What a beautiful environment we live in. We should be thankful for it each day.

Polly that second photograph is unbelievable!!! :smt041 :smt041 I know it's not the kind of shot I normally collect but it is just soooo wonderful that I was wondering if I could pinch it too please?

I'm amazed at the blaze of colour in the top picture. The trees are so 'alive' compared to the starkness of the countryside around them. Keep the pics coming as I love seeing them. :-D

Eileen you are always welcome to any of my photos. That one was an accident - don't know the sun was streaming down like that.

That's called crepuscular light. Isn't that an awful word for such a gorgeous phenomenon. Love the pics.Makes me homesick. Maybe I need to drive up there and visit my parents.

Lovely! Sunrays are just as much a beautiful thing to be caught on film as anything else - and the trees are very nice too. Autumn color is always a wonder.
