    Well it looks like the fall bird migration has begun. We had about 20 robins in the back yard a while ago. Didn't do them much good though, the ground is as hard as concrete with no rain in 2 weeks. I think my hummers have left too. I haven't seen any in the past few days. Will leave it up for a while in case we have some passing through.

    I haven't noticed the bird migration yet, but our ground is also hard as concrete. We haven't had rain for 23 days. I saw a Hummer yesterday. I'm sure it won't be long before they are gone.

    Here we have birds arriving for the autumn and winter so I'd better make sure I have a good supply of food in for them.

    The starlings have been flocking up for weeks already and I think most of them have left, probably heading for Eileen's since the chirp's out about lots of good food. :D

    They left early this year for some reason. The first geese went south in the middle of August. I fear we're in for a hard winter.

    Our robins are still around. I hear them talking to one another in the evening. But it won't be long now before they begin to journey to their summer homes...
