Great pictures. Bet you had to water a lot. Nice to have the rains-right. Very pretty.

Glad you liked photos.Carolyn, that burgundy plant is purple Orach.Real name,Atriplex. It is a reseeding annual. The tender leaves are edible. It is related to Lambs Quarters.I've never tried to eat it.Goldfiches just love the seeds. I have never had it grow so lustily as this year.It is really pretty in the spring. If you look in some of my albums you can see it in some pots before it got tall. I take it out of containers .I will send you some seeds if you want. Enough there to seed acres. Not really invasive, easy to yank out.Everyone that comes here in spring remarks on this plant. I sold many at plant sales. Rabbits just love it,too.
About watering these pots this year,Of course MaN. didn't water them as much as other years but it didn't take long to use hose.Just had to do it about every day.Mulch helped.

Everything looks wonderful! What's that tall plant with the white flowers in the first photo?

Cherylad,The plant with the white flowers is Ammi.It is an annual something like Queen Anne's Lace but not invasive like QAL.I didn't get the seed collected & unfortunately it fell off. They have the seeds at Swallowtail & Summerhill seeds.
It adds a lacy look with other flowers.
