My husband went to Ohio on business and they can't find his luggage. They promised it last night and it never showed up. They said this morning and he never got it. Now he is calling the airline and telling him he is buying some things that he has to have (clean shirt and underwear). He comes home tomorrow night and still has meetings in the morning..so he really needs something else to wear...LOL. and people ask me why I don't travel. This has happened to him I think about 5 or 6 times through the years...Lucky him. I didn't mention that I will be surprised if his new razor will still be in the bag when he gets it. He got it for Christmas from the kids...and it was expensive..I am just hoping that everything is in the bag..
It happened to us when we were traveling with the boys. Since we had the claim check they reimbursed us for the things we bought to replace items we needed. They also forwarded the luggage when it turned up. dooley
That stinks Sherry! I hope your husband does OK and they find his luggage soon. P.S-I don't like to travel either - that is probably why!!!
Hope he gets the luggage and all it's contents back soon. I haven't flown anywhere in 6 years and I would just as soon keep it that way. Between the lost luggage and the chance of having to sit in the plane on the tarmack for hours on end flying is just not part of my life's plan anymore.
Bummer that is terrible - being away from home and without a change of clothing. I just hope you get all your stuff back. one hear so often about luggage getting lost and when (if ever) it is returned there is always something missing.
My husband did get his luggage back about 9 the night before he was coming home..Everything was in it so he felt pretty good about it..Hopefully when he goes to the same place next month he remember to put a couple extra things in his carry-on luggage, but not much room when you already carry a laptop....good to know we have a lot of good people in the world....
I havent had that happen, thank goodness, and Im sorry it happened to you guys One more reason I only take carry-on luggage -_-
Sherry I had mine done that way twice.Once coming home and once going.Everytime its because my plane was late in the airport I had to hurry to the connecting flight and my luggage didn't have time to be unloaded and fly with me.They were brought to my home app.46 miles from the airport the morning after I got home and delivered to Heathers front door one at 11:00 pm at night and the other one at 8:00 am the next morning.I had nothing missing.
