    for now

    Dad just called
Her surgery went faster than the doc expected
he predicted 5 hours and it was only two (not as bad as he thought)

Mommy told Dad to go home and take care of Kissy(their doggie) and not come back till in the morning
and also told him to make sure to call me
So that means she still has her wits about her

I can go see her at 9A.M. tommorrow
She will probably get to go home next Tuesday

now we just wait Me and Dad are still worried after what happened to Cheryl
but WE are gonna think that way no matter what the doc says

    for now........

Very good news. Many people have that surgery and never have a secondary problem, probably many more than those that do have further problems. Keep good thoughts, when you have a negative thought just tell it to go find someone else to torment ;)

Great news, BW. I reckon that she will spend about another week in the hosp before going home.
I hope that she doesn't have too much pain from this.
    Hang in there!

yeah they drilled the docotor pretty good
    before the surgery
The doctor said he had been performing this type of procedure for 15 years and had never lost a patient
and the nurse that has worked with him for the past 10 yrs concured

Before Dad left for the day he told the nurses to keep an eye on her real close as she is stubborn and a whinner and to not let her try and do anything by herself

I'll letcha all know how my visit went when I get back

Thank you again for all of your kind thoughts/hugs and prayers this has been a very stressful past couple of weeks

Well she was a little goofy and A LOT sleepy
but other than that she was alot better than I expected

The way she talked I thought I was gonna walk into a cyborgs room but they had removed most of the wires and tubes by the time I got there this morning
The nurse says she is doing really well
and they are planning to move her into her own room sometime today

Glad to hear your mother is doing well. Its so good that they'll be moving her to her own room. Sounds like she's well on her way to recovery. Keep us informed as to when she'll be going home.

Well she didn't get moved to her own room yesterday
    The nurse mis-spoke
The doc wants her to be a little bit more mobile before he moves her
Just as well at least where she is at she is closely being watched :-D
