    Very nice fotos, Sherry...and with the Echinacea as a backdrop--well, it just makes the whole scene quite charming.

    Thanks for sharing. We don't have monarchs here so it is great nostalgia for me. Beautiful with the echinachea :p

    Netty...I have seen them but this is the only one so far that didn't fly away when I got my camera..I think the numbers are way down but my butterfly bush has only been blooming about a week so hopefully it will attract more of them.

    Ha, funny to see a monarch on echinacea. When I had echinacea the only thing that would land on them were bees! LOL
    To the person in Ontario we've had an unusually cool summer (i'm in greater detroit) but can assure you I've never seen so many monarch as this year, but then I keep a whole lot of milkweed so maybe that is drawing an unusual number than in years past.
