Monarchs still around...

    With our late 80 degree weather we had more butterfly's around...now we are cooling down so this should be close to the end of them...

    I felt so bad for this really tattered Monarch that visited...it looks like it has been through a lot..

    More fantastic Monarch shots. It looks like that first one had a close-call.
    Good thing that he could wing-it when he did. ;)

    Lovely monarchs, even the poor tattered one. I can't get enough of butterfly photos. :D

    I wonder what story the tattered Monarch would have to tell about his adventures and how he got his war wounds! what beautiful pictures, thank you for sharing them

    I love all butterflies.The Monarch are so beautiful and the tattered one must be an Ike survivor from Texas :)

    I didn't realise that monarchs has black bodies with white spots!! Amazing. :-D
