I am calling this friendly tit, “Pig Pen” because he always looks so dishevelled. He was very “present” today and came to the knee frequently. I started offering him a few things in my palm and he had no problem with that. I saw a sunflower pic that Daniel posted yesterday and thought that my two volunteers resembled his a bit. The leaves have been chewed on by some little green insects that look a bit like crickets…just green.

There is a lady gardener on you tube who has hundreds, maybe thousands of birds in her yard. She gardens in containers, and makes fountains for the hummingbirds. Her channel is Robbie and Gary Gardening Easy if anyone wants to see her gardens in southern California. Her husband's garden is unusual too. I enjoy watching her gardens.
