Here are some pix from my yard to tide y'all over this weekend. My daughter and I are driving to a small town North of Dallas this afternoon. My niece's 7th birthday was yesterday and we're going to the party. I can't get over how much you have in flower in your garden WT. Those petunias are glorious. I hope you get more of those beautiful cone flowers as they are really lovely blooms.

Great pictures. It seems funny to me that you have both Echinacea and Columbine blooming at the same time! My Columbine blooms in May and my Echinacea in August.
bloom Netty, The echinacea will blom all Summer here and the columbine, to my recollection, blooms when it feels like it in Summer, but always in Spring. kuntrygal, Well, it probably qualifies as a small town, but it is located on that huge concrete slab known as the Metroplex. I am now at my brother's house in Flower Mound. It's nice & rural to the West, but terribly urban to the East. We just call it "Dallas", even though when we're here, we never actually go to the city of Dallas, unless it's to go to the Dallas World Aquarium (which is way cool!) I don't know if Flower Mound existed decades ago, or if it was a recent concoction for the residents to avoid being swallowed up by a larger city. Lewisville is right next to Flower Mound and I know, it used to be a farm town, but now, it's big city.
