    The cardinals have been hitting my bird feeders more often, now that it has gotten cold. With the snow on the ground I think they are even reder than normal.

    I'm so glad you got your new camera -- I enjoy your pics.
    It's interesting to me to see which birds tend to eat with which. Here the doves generally wait until everyone else is gone and then they go in and clean up. The cardinals are usually on an earlier lunch shift.

    Thanks, I am enjoying the camera, now I need a better zoom lens, maybe Santa will bring me one. :smt111 The mourning doves are here all the time...first there were two, over the last week there are 14 regulars. The cardinals are not intimidated by them, I have two pair that come regularly.

    That beautiful, my favorite bird.

    I want a zoom too , but my canon es doesnt carry one.

    Maybe up grade to an Nikon with a zoom.
