love work . . not just because i enjoy gardening, but also because they are very wasteful. we've had hudreds of pounds worth of plants sat in a dark garage for around two weeks now, with no water!! . . well today they finally gave in to the fact that they ordered to many and had no where for them . . . this is were i step in :-D 2 trays of dahlia 2 trays of petunia 4 trays of geranium 1 tray of cineraria god only knows where im putting them!!! . . . but i felt it was my duty to save them from the bin, or someone else :-D
Great haul! The head gardener ought to have a math-check to find out how many plants cover what area! Fortunately, he/she seems to be number challenged and you are reaping the benefits. At least the plants are going to a good home! Let us see photos when they are in the ground and recovered from their ordeal (as I am sure they will under your care).
Better than Christmas! Hope you're able to save them and find nice places for them to live in your garden.
Don't be surprised if you see a coach load of Stewers turing up in Grimsby some day soon!! I hope those plants recover and grow strong and healthy. When they do I'd love to see pics of them all.
maybe some basic math skills would do them some good marlin, but im not about to teach them any and you guys are more than welcome to make your way down, there are plenty to go around :-D
I have a customer who over buys. I planted a bunch for her but sad to see flat of flowers DEAD.Glad you was able to take them home and set them free.
I would have done the same thing. Boy I would love to work there. Or maybe not. I to wouldn't know where to plant them all.
