These first ones are a lot darker yellow than what they appear in this pic. I have no idea what they are as my SIL gave them to me, just before they moved into town My wife bought thes about 10 years ago, and the name tag has long disappeared. But are very pretty.
I LOVE DAY LILIES!! Only a few of mine are open now but I have tons of buds. When they decide to open they will be spectacular! I like the shape of your yellows. Are they recurved a little? Deanna :-D
Yes they are recurved. I have some that will be opening in a few days that open and hang upside down. I will try to get some pics of those too.
I think the main reason I like lillys so much, is that they need very little care and they bloom their little hearts out for you!
Lovely things, those two lilies! Those yellow ones do have a nice tint...I can see that...and I can imagine that if it were a bit darker it'd be even more attractive.
